One of the prime infrastructural projects in New Delhi, the new TERMINAL 3 (T3) at the INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL (IGI) AIRPORT is designed with many unique landscape features. Odyssey was awarded the Hardscape and Water Features work for this iconic project. HARDSCAPE The Scope of Work under Hardscape included 858 Movable Planter Boxes, 750 RMT of Fixed Planters in Steel Grey Granite, a Landscape Deck and Planter Benches. The Movable Planter Boxes are completely self-sufficient and drip-free, equipped with a HDPE tray, Pond Liner and a slotted Galvanized Mild Steel (GMS) Framework. The GMS framework was clad with Steel Grey Granite, Sapphire Brown Granite and Tan Brown Granite. The slotted framework enabled flexibility with the height of the plants and planters placed inside the boxes by moving the HDPE trays up or down. Impact of GST on Real Estate

Home Buyers are certainly waiting for GST rollout from July 1. Experts believe that buyers will benefit if they buy houses in projects launched post July 1. It will be so even after a rise in service tax of 4.5% to GST of 12%. This is because a number of hidden and cascading will be removed under GST. Developers will also get several tax credits under GST. But these tax credits will not be applicable to projects that are under-construction, nearing completion or ones that are ready. “The heavily taxed real estate sector welcomes a single stable 12% GST rate, inclusive of the value of land and with full input tax credits,” said Rajeev Talwar, CEO, DLF and chairman of National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO).
