He believed    that a grid of columns    forming a matrix giving structural   and spatial aspect would turn a   design to more sophisticated and   faceted. Antoni Gaudí i Cornet  ( 25 June 1852 – 10 June 1926) A   Spanish   Catalan   architect from   Reus   and the best known practitioner of   Catalan Modernism . Take a card sheet, try to make out some cubes, pyramids, and spheres out of it. Combine them.
